Best beaches from the island

We are Mallorca lovers and its beautiful and crystalline beaches. It is true that this island has something special and different that makes all those who visit it fall in love, and as we are locals we will tell you a small secret list of our favorite beaches.

It is very difficult to opt for a few, since with more than 250 beaches and coves there is almost impossible to decide which is more beautiful. But well... We will tell you some of those that we have special love.

Cala Formentor

Located in the northwest of Mallorca, Cala Formentor is one of the places you have to visit at least once during your stay in Mallorca. Thanks to its beauty, it is very popular with tourists and locals, but this cove is worth it. With a backdrop formed by a pine forest, turquoise waters intermingle with white sand in 1 kilometer in length. We love its beach surrounded by mountains and its smell of pine!

Es Carbó

We could define 'Es Carbó' as the beach where you can escape from everything. There is no place more peaceful than Es Carbó. You can only access this beach by walking 30 minutes from Colonia de Sant Jordi and by boat. What we like most about Es Carbó is that since there is no service available, you can enjoy the most authentic and pure Mallorca.

S'Amarador

In the southeast of Mallorca, you'll find S'Amarador. This spectacular white sand beach is part of the Mondragó Natural Park, so it remains completely unspoiled and maintained. A free parking is 5 minutes from the beach and on the beach itself you will find sun beds, umbrellas, a small beach bar, toilets and showers.

Cala Tuent

Cala Tuent is located in the middle of a simply idyllic natural landscape with views of the highest mountain in Mallorca, Puig Major. An oasis of peace and tranquility, we are a fan of these glory moments!

With approximately 100 meters in length, it is not a large beach, but it is definitely worth visiting, since surrounded by mountains will leave you speechless. There are no facilities or services on the beach, so it is not recommended to go with children.

Es Trenc

Es Trenc is one of the beaches to which Mallorca owes its fame. With an intact beauty, this impressive beach is not linked to any tourist center, it is isolated and offers a natural environment.

A Es Trenc can be reached by car: there are many parking spaces nearby, which makes this beach very busy in summer. With more than 2 kilometers of golden sand and crystal clear waters, it is often known as the response of Mallorca to the Caribbean.

Caló d’es Moro

Caló d'es Moro is one of those coves that appear on postcards, located in the southeast of Mallorca, about 6 kilometers from Santanyí.

Although parking can be difficult, but once you've done it, you will not have to walk very far to get to this little piece of paradise. It is next to Cala S'Almunia; Both are worth a visit! Warning: in summer it's full! You will have to wake up very early.
