Roots, history and product


Myriad cultures have made their home on our island, creating a rich gastronomic legacy. There are records of the meals our ancestors prepared dating back to the days of the Roman Empire, as well as the Late Middle Ages thanks to Moorish recipe books and Christian texts, a tradition that has continued until the present day.  Our vision is based on creating a contemporary culinary culture of our homeland, defending Majorca’s superb cuisine and historic traditions.

DINS’ current venue is a former carpenter’s workshop in Lloseta, a small inland town on the island of Majorca. Diners enter the space through the kitchen of Santi Taura’s restaurant. There is seating for up to 16 diners in a space where the kitchen, dining room and clients converge in a highly personal and intimate setting.
